Review of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them -- Movie

Yesterday, a wizard entered New York with a case. A case full of magical creatures. And unfortunately, some have escaped.

For all the potter fans out there you will NOT want to be Obliviated after watching this new film. Its in 3D and IMAX, all the creatures come to life and you can almost touch them. It can turn all the adults into kids within seconds, I myself was squealing and weeping when the title of the movie was displayed on the screen and the Harry Potter's signature tune was being played in the background. I grew up reading and watching Harry potter movies and recently read Harry potter and the cursed child.

The movie starts off with a glimpse of Grindelwald unleashing a spell and then cut to Newt entering New York in the 1926 by ship. He is also carrying a mysterious suitcase that is home to dozens of magical creatures. He somehow manages to get it exchanged with a No-Mag (Whaaaa...oh wait Muggles...okay okay Now I get it) Mr No-Mag aka Jacob Kowalski wants to open a bakery (Yummy!) but sadly has no collateral to offer to the bank so that they can provide him with a loan. Now he is a very typical comical side-kick to our hero Newt (and kind-a reminds me of Ron Weasley). Newt also makes acquaintances with Miss Porpentina "Tina" Goldstein (yeah she might be slightly Hermoine-ish) and her sister Queenie Goldstein. Queenie can read minds, well not British peoples minds properly, errr well because of their accents (Can you blame her?). She reads Newts mind and discovers that he liked a woman by the name of.........wait for it........drum roll please.....Leta...No wait you don't know who she is do you? oh silly me I forgot, did I tell you her last name...its...Lestrange!!! woah goosbumps. Why Lestrange, Newt, why??

Mr Kowalski inadvertently opens the exchanged suitcase and a few of the magical creatures escape. Our team of four heroes have several adventures while trying to capture all the creatures that escaped, from central park to Macy's department store. Meanwhile there is something else lurking out in the streets of New York, wrecking havoc. Percival Graves who is the Director of Magical Security for MACUSA (The Magical Congress of the United States of America) is trying to find a child with the help of a boy named Credence. Credence is the adopted son of a woman who claims that magic and witches exist and calls her group as the The Second-Salemers. The viewers are slowly slipped an Easter egg when Graves gives Credence a necklace with the Deathly Hallows symbol.

Does Newt manage to capture all his escaped beasts? What is the mysterious creature that is haunting New York? Will magic be exposed to No-Mags (Muggles)? And most importantly who is Percival Graves?

Also Albus Dumbledore name pops up once in between. The readers of the series know that he and Grindelwald have a fight and Dumbledore defeats him. So wonder if they will bring it in the future films. There is going to be 4 more films, 5 in total. And I am sure after watching this one, you will be eagerly waiting for the next one. 

We're going to recapture my creatures before they get hurt. They're currently in alien terrain surrounded by millions of the most vicious creatures on the planet; humans. 

Review of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child -- Book

 Sometimes costs are made to be borne

 
I must say procuring this book was an adventure in itself. I had pre-ordered this book and they did not deliver as promised. But I still managed to grab it on the same day as it was released -- 31st July 2016. A day I and several Harry Potter fans were waiting for anxiously. I was both excited and nervous. Excited because I was reading a new Harry Potter, after such a long time, and nervous because I was worried it wouldn't meet my expectations.

The book is a play based on a story by J.K Rowling and John Tiffany, written by Jack Thorne. It is a complete script with only dialogues and very few description of the characters or the surroundings. If you (like me) haven't seen the play or will not be able to watch it in the near future, then you have to heavily rely on your previous readings to get the feel of the environment.

Most parts of the book made me feel nostalgic and emotional, especially when I read about Harry, who is now the Head of Magical Law Enforcement, facing struggles at work and with his son, Albus. Hermoine is the Minister of Magic and Ron runs Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. Harry's wife Ginny writes the sports section of the Daily Prophet. McGonagall is now the Headmistress at Hogwarts. The book starts off where Deathly hallows left, and takes you through a very familiar world. Harry and Albus do not see eye to eye and Draco and his son Scorpius are also not on good terms, especially after his mother Astoria passes away.

Albus is worried he will be sorted into Slytherin at the start of his school year and his fears are soon realized. He becomes friends with Scorpius, who is rumored to be the son of Voldemort. They fail to make other friends and mainly stay within themselves, much to the chagrin of Harry. Both are considered the outcasts and Albus especially turns into this brooding teenager who has daddy issues. Scorpius is the comic relief and in no way the side kick, and he has a bit of Hermoine in him. Albus is more like his dad adventurous, loyal and a bit reckless. Albus develops a crush on Delphi, who is Cedric's cousin. Yes that poor Cedric Diggory, who lost his life during the Triwizard Tournament (Goblet of fire). Most of the story revolves around Cedric.

While the boys are facing their own problems, Harry is facing his own demons. His scar starts to hurt again and he starts dreaming again of Voldemort calling to him. This sent chills down my spine. Lets see- Voldemort, Umbridge and Bellatrix would come in my top three most hated villains of all time, and the name calling was a bit too much (Harrrryyy Potterrrr). Like always no one believes him when he says that Voldemort is back(is he really?), just like they did not believe him the first time.

All I can say is that while reading the book I was nervous and excited for all the adventures and it made me feel like a kid again, this time with Albus and Scorpius not with Harry, Hermoine and Ron. Overall I was satisfied, it did not make me hate Harry or any of his friends(phew!) or any of the writers.

A must read for all Harry Potter fans, I am sure you will not be disappointed. Many of your questions will be answered. Is Scorpius really Voldemort's child? Did Voldemort have a child? and most of all Who is this mysterious Delphi?

The main moral of this book and all Harry Potter books is only one - Cherish your friends and their friendship and remain loyal to them.

Mischief Managed

(SPOILER ahead - highlight to read)
Every important character of the Potterverse  makes a cameo appearance in the book. Some we love (Snape - Yayyy and Cedric) and some we hate(Umbridge - Ughhh). There were some time tested formulas used, like writing on the blanket for the future Harry to read. I felt this book bought us to a complete circle and gave us closure, the story began in Godric's Hollow and ended it there. Harry watching as Voldemort attacks his parents and his helplessness would bring a tear to anybody's eye.

Review of X-Men: Apocalypse -- Movie

Some believe that the first mutant was born thousands of years ago. He was some kind of god, and he's going to rise again.

Long long time ago, there was the very first mutant, En Sabah Nur aka Apocalypse (Poe is that you?), who is betrayed by his followers and buried alive. But not before one of his horsemen die protecting him. So you of course DO NOT want to wake this guy up right? But then what's the use of superheroes if they do not have a super villain to fight. And this super villain is awesome!! The friendly mutants have to fight the not so friendly mutants. We know that Apocalypse has been alive for a very long time and every time he rises he recruits 4 horsemen (Holy cow!) So how does he manage to remain alive you say? Well he kind of transports himself to another mutant's body and then take on their powers as well (Boo Yah!) This time he recruits Storm (No storm Noo...I thought you were one of the good guys...sniff), Magneto (who has a love hate relationship with Prof X), Psylocke and Angel (mutant birdie).

Enough about the villains, lets come to our heroes. I still cant come to terms with Prof X (James McAvoy...sigh) having so much hair, but sadly its gone in the end (Ouch). I thought that he had same problems like us, a receding hairline. But nooo, he has mutant problems, major mutant problems.

The film takes place in 1983, where we are introduced to Scott Summers, and way to take care of a high school bully, good on you Scott. His brother Alex brings him to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, where in a very dramatic (boy meets girl) sequence Scott meets Jean (love at first sight?...nah Scott has his eyes bandaged). By the way 1983 was the year that Return of the Jedi was released. When Scott, Jean, Jubilee and Nightcrawler bunk school and visit a mall (lets go to the mall...Today...arghhhh HIMYM hangover!), they watch star wars and Jean says the third movie is always the worst (Teee hee hee)

Comic relief comes in the form of Nightcrawler and Quicksilver (My Maaannnnn!!). Quicksilver's sequences of saving everyone (and some goldfish!) from a crumbling X mansion and kicking Apocalypses' ass are EPIC! And Prof X stalking Moira MacTaggert! (a CIA agent he met and fell in love with in the X-men: First Class). So Facebook did not exist then, yet he stalks her via Cerebro. Also Apocalypse might be an old dude but he sure knows how to hack Cerebro. Raven, Jean and Storm are the bad-ass girls of this movie, who have their own butt kicking moments(Ohh Yeahhh). And Jean turning into the Phoenix (Girl power!) And a brief (but Oh-my-freakin-awesome) cameo by the man himself Wolverine (Hugh Jackman...droool). Scott says "Hope its the last we see of this guy"(Yeah right Scott...Dream on)

You have to watch the movie if you are a X-Men fan. Because the story line is clean and the background stories are perfectly coordinated. You should watch it for Magneto and Quicksilver(who is much better than Peter Maximoff in the Avengers). You can even watch it if you have never seen any of the X-Men movies, but if you have you will understand the subtle hints throughout. Also watch it for Prof X who gets his legs back for a small time. Why is quicksilver so keen on finding Magneto? Why did a good working class guy (who actually saved a guy from being killed) turn into Magneto? Does the guy on the roof finally kiss the girl (Ewwwww)? Do the X-Men save the world once again? Watch it and find out.

Also please wait for the end of credits scene, it tells us who might be the villain in the next Wolverine movie (MUHAHAHA).

Review of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation -- Movie

Your mission if you choose to accept it will be to read this post till the end.

Yes, Ethan Hunt is back,and knowing him his entrance in anything short of amazing,in the very beginning of the movie we see him clinging onto an airplane which is in the air!! This sets the tone for the movie, warning the viewers that nothing is impossible for Ethan Hunt (or for Tom Cruise for that matter as he performs most of the stunts himself).

He gets kidnapped later on by an international criminal consortium, known as the "Syndicate". There while he is tied and getting beaten up by someone known as the "bone doctor", the name sends a chill down my spine, he sees a beautiful mysterious woman. This woman who seems to love her shoes, I mean who doesn't, ends up aiding his escape. How does Ethan always end up finding beautiful women? I mean come on its not like he has an active social life or goes to parties and stuff to meet women.

He previously witnesses the killing of a IMF aid by a man. He makes sketches of this man and the woman and starts hunting them. The man being the leader of the Syndicate. Meanwhile the CIA director is not happy with the IMF and wants it disbanded. He succeeds, and the members of the IMF start working with the CIA. And they start a manhunt to find Ethan. Uff the Americans and their CIAs and IMFs and FBIs and what nots.

Benji, who is extremely bored working behind a desk at the CI, gets a mail saying he has won a free ticket to the performance of opera Turandot by Vienna State Opera. Once reaching there he comes to know that it was Ethan who had sent him the tickets. He wants Benji to find the man with glasses (identified as Solomon Lane) in the crowd. The chancellor of Austria also attends the Opera, which by now you can guess is not a coincidence. Hunt sees that not one, not two, but three shooters are targeting the Chancellor, to assassinate him. One of them being the girl (known as Ilsa, I thought it was Elsa, but no its "Ilsa". Frozen inspired?). I still did NOT get how she managed to wear a dress, stilettos and climb a ladder and run over the roof. While the whole Opera is on lock down Hunt and Ilsa escape via a rope. And Benji escapes, well I am not sure how but he has a car which picks them up. Now why dint Hunt take Benjis way out. Maybe he just likes doing impossible things, true to his nature.

Its nice to watch a tiny man like Ethan Hunt fighting with huge men and not get intimidated. He also almost dies while in water, gets tossed around in car and then gets up and joins a high speed bike chase, and all this without a scratch. One of the scenes of him driving a car over steps reminded me of my cab driver, wow now everyday I will feel like an IMF agent.

Overall the movie was good with a few mistakes here and there. Totally acceptable. I am quite forgiving you know. Seeing Ethan, Benji, Luther and Brandt working together again was a treat. Though I would have liked to see more of Renner.

A must watch for all MI fans. You should not miss this one. This comes in at second in my list of MI movies.

I hope there a sequel to this movie, with Alec Baldwin joining the IMF team, as we see in the end of the movie. The star cast will be treat to watch together.

Review of Tomorrowland -- Movie

There are two wolves- one is evil and one is good. The two are fighting. Which one wins?

The one you feed

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and girls, welcome to tomorrow land. A land where dreamers go and invent some new and very interesting things. Frank Walker is a young boy who goes to the 1964 New York World Fair to showcase the jet pack he has created (which by the way "technically flies"), so that he can win the 50 dollar prize money.

He is turned away but not before a young girl, Athena, hands him a pin. He follows her and a few others and is transported to a new world, a fantastic world, with technology from the future.

Now coming back to the present, a teenage girl named Casey, breaks into a NASA base station,which is up for demolition, and fries all the cranes. The next day her dad, who is a NASA engineer, tells her that new cranes would be coming in soon and demolition will take place as scheduled. When she goes again that night to break in she gets caught and is jailed.

She makes bail, and in her personal effects she finds a pin. When she touches it she is transported to the world we had seen before. It doesnt last long and she tries to find more about the place, and if she can go there for real.

From there she ends up meeting Athena, and finally Frank, who isn't so young anymore. A gang of robots follow them and try to kill them. They escape, and a man, a robot and a teenage girl make their way back to Tomorrow land. Who were those robots? Why did Athena give Casey the pin? And whats all this talk about an apocalypse? How is Casey connected to all of this?

The first half is quite long, but the story picks up after the intermission. Also the editing is a little rough. Raffey Cassidy who plays Athena is absolutely wonderful. The plastic smile on the robot's face gives you the jitters. There is also a small cameo by Keegan-Michael Key, which to his true nature will make you laugh.

You get this a wonderful overwhelming feeling when you watch the movie. Its visually spectacular and the story line fantastic. The sequence with the "The Eiffel Tower" and the rocket launch, just one word or rather sentiment, WOW.

One of the realizations you get while watching this movie is that we need more people asking questions and dreaming and have an active imagination. And that's what Disney is about. Imagination.

Aruna Shanbaug has just died after fighting a long battle, 42 years long. She wasn't the only one who died.. justice too is dead. Without a battle. Not even a fight.

I am not writing about Aruna or nirbhaya or anyone in particular. I am writing about each and every one of you. All of us humans who are considered the most civilized.

So what do we do when we read about a murder or a rape case in the newspaper.  Gossip about it. Write a Facebook status about it. Hope it gets likes and shares. Or even tweet. The damn audacity we have to do that.

And yes we do that, why? Because we know somewhere inside that justice is dead. Heroes don't get a happy ending. Happy endings are reserved for the villains.  Fairy tales, movies..all point us to the wrong direction that justice prevails in the end. Fairy tales, the ones we read in our childhood. Every fairy tale has a hero and a villain. The fight between good and evil continues till the end and finally the hero is able to save everyone from the villain and they all live happily ever after. There is no such phrase as happily ever after for Aruna or nirbhaya or the hundreds or thousands of others.

We all know its true, but we have to survive so we suppress this thought and continue living our lives the way it is. We don't want to bring about a change. The justice system or the society has failed us. But who constitute of this? We do. We forget that we as an entire population are much stronger. We together can bring change to the justice system or society as a whole. We not I. But are "We" willing?  

I know you are saying "Whats the use?". You would have said and heard this phrase many times in your lives.

Exactly..what am I even doing writing this.

Review of The Interstellar -- Movie

So starting off its not one of those films which explain everything to the viewer. Its more like your math teacher doing a problem on the black board and just "expecting" you to "understand" it. Does it bring back memories....yes yes it does. Well memories aside, towards the end, the entire movie makes complete sense. Each loose end is tied up perfectly, with a very pretty bow. So patience is a virtue (people with very slow internet speeds understand...don't' you).

The events of the movie takes place some where in the future where Earth is slowly turning out to be uninhabitable to humans. Our protagonist Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), is father of two, son Tom and daughter Murph (named after Murphy's law), lives with his family including his father-in-law, Donald.  He is an engineer by profession, but the current situation of man kind forces him to be a caretaker and become a farmer. He is a regular parent who goes to PTA meetings, and during such a meeting the teacher tells him that his son's score is low, hence he has to become a farmer. Cooper fights and asks why he cannot be an engineer. The reply almost gave me a heart attack, he says "We don't need engineers"(Being an engineer myself this quote stung pretty bad).

Meanwhile, Murph feels there is a "ghost" in her room, who has been trying to communicate with her. Cooper brushes this off until one dust storm the dust settles down as a binary code on the floor of murphy's bedroom. This leads them to a secret NASA station where he meets Professor Brand, his daughter Amelia (Anne Hathaway) and the very charming TARS. Cooper is told that Brand has a Plan A and a Plan B to save Earth or atleast the human species. Brand asks Cooper to pilot Endurance, a spacecraft, which will take him and others through wormhole to find a planet for the human kind to survive. Previously other astronauts had been sent through the same wormhole and three potential planets have been zeroed in.

Murph doesnt like it that her father is leaving her. And says the the "ghost" has asked him to stay. He leaves anyway and promises her that he'll be back. The mission starts off with 4 people - Cooper, Amelia Brand, Doyle and Romilly. The journey through space and the worm hole is absolutely breathtakingly wonderful visually.

The entire movie is just not about the mission there's actually some very emotional scenes between Murph and her father and your heart aches for them to get back together. Each of the planets that they go to increases their time on earth, like an hour turns out to be 7 years. The time you cannot loose because like Cooper says, whats the use of finding a solution after all the people on earth have died. So Murph's growing up as her father stays the same age. The discoveries they make has a lot of twists and turns and suddenly you start to wonder exactly how will it end? Can they save the human race? Will cooper see his daughter again? 

 

And most importantly who is murph's ghost?

Something stinks.... Its garbage!!

Have you ever complained about the garbage that has filled your city? Have you ever blamed the government for not cleaning the streets? I guess you must be nodding your head quite vigorously by now. But let me ask you one more question. How did the garbage get there? The chocolate wrapper you see in front you. Was it beamed from outer space by some alien? If you believe in such things then you better stop reading now.

Let me tell you the truth. You threw that. Yes YOU. Why?? Because it was convenient. Because someone else will clean that. Or because you just dont care. Why should you worry about that. Lets just complain that the government is not good, there is too much corruption and all that.

Everyday when I travel I look at the roads, bottles, plastic, banana peels and what not. It makes me sick. Seriously guys, stop throwing stuff out and leaving it for someone else to clean. In school I remember my teacher telling me "Dont dirty the classroom. Do you throw garbage in your house as well". This concept stuck with me. Do you throw things around in your house. Do you sleep in midst of garbage. I dont think so. So why dirty your city. Treat your city as your home.

In buses people get hungry, they eat, and whatever is left over like wrappers, orange peels etc are flung out the windows. Its actually dangerous to pedestrians, as well as two wheeler drivers. And the funniest thing is this is done by very educated people (or so they say they are). Were'nt you ever taught that only throw garbage in a garbage bin. Or are you too lazy? Please carry the garbage home and throw it in a dust bin. So that it is carried away in a garbage truck and disposed properly. Actually beyond this you can blame the government. The job is done from your side.

Some people throw garbage in the gutter and drainage. So you believe that its actually a bin and somehow it looks like a gutter for rain water? Seriously dont make me laugh so much. My stomach hurts. They think its okay to throw in that. Just beacuse it has dirty water doesnt mean it can take your garbage as well. It gets clogged and the next time it rains there is going to be water logging and all the water will flow onto the road. Which will cause traffic jams. See the chain reaction. It just goes on and on and on.

So dont blame someone else.When actually the culprit is each and every one of us. When we do our part we can point fingers at others. Also whats the harm in being responsible citizens? Next time you want to throw something, think. All of us have been provided a brain for that.

View from kriswiz -- WebRTC -- Technology

I have probably read a 100 articles on WebRTC. And everyone has something different to say. So this is my view.

First for all, for the people who don't know what is WebRTC. Well this is the standard definition --

"WebRTC is a free, open project that enables web browsers with Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities via simple JavaScript APIs. The WebRTC components have been optimized to best serve this purpose."

Basically it converts your normal browser (the one your using to read this article right now) into your very own phone without having to download anything. Now you may ask me, " Yeah right. But I do have to download plug-ins, right?" and you know what i would say zilch...nahh...none!! Plugins can be difficult to deploy, debug, troubleshoot, test and maintain—and may require licensing and integration with complex, expensive technology.

WebRTC is a set of javascript APIs you can use to create your very own "app" (going by the trend now-a-days) which will run on your browser and make audio/video calls. You may not need to make an entire App, it can be incorporated as a component in your website so that interested users can contact you easily. This can run on any OS which has a browser installed (Windows, IOS, Android you name it). And you can easily interop between any browser.

WebRTC uses VP8 video codec and opus audio codec (works with PCMA/PCMU as well). And all your RTP flowing during the call is encrypted (yeah baby SRTP with DTLS). Also if you have a firewall then there is STUN, TURN and ICE used to go through it.

Currently Firefox and Chrome support WebRTC and so does opera (I haven't tried it on opera yet though). But it is still picking up so probably in the near future it will be supported by all the browsers (hopefully by IE too). Two groups, the Web Real-Time Communications Working Group and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IEFT), are currently working on standards for WebRTC.

So the next time you go to a company's website and you want to speak to the customer representative just click on the click-to-call button and voila you are instantly connected. The call no longer needs to route through the phone system, so calls could require fewer hops.

Review of The Wolverine (3D) -- Movie

Kon'nichiwa,

The experience of watching wolverine and Hugh Jackman on the big screen in 3D probably cannot be described in words. But I'll try my best to do justice to it. The film is largely based on Wolverine comics which appeared in 1982, the characters are also taken from these comics.

After seeing a lot of Japanese anime I went to see this movie, and what do I see! Logan in Japan too? Anata amarini Logan!

A mysterious woman named Yukio (who seems to be a mutant who can see the future) comes all the way from Japan to ask Logan to meet her dieing master Yoshida, who he had once saved during the Nagasaki bombings. Logan reluctantly travels to Japan to meet him.

Once there, he notices that the house is heavily guarded and he is swiped with the metal detector. Imagine a admantium filled Wolverine being swiped! A thousand beeps erupts into the air and Logan cheekily justifies saying "Hip Replacement".

A "dieing" Yashida offers Logan to "cure" him and making him a mortal again. He refuses blankly and storms out. In the Yashida household he meets Mariko, Yashida's grand daughter and something on the lines of  "love at first sight" happens. He also meets the femme fatale villain Viper, who is the old man's doctor.

The old man dies and at the funeral there is a kidnapping attempt on Mariko. The wolverine being the man...no...the mutant that he is, saves her, being shot quite a number of times during the process.

Quite a lot of fight sequence emerge from here. The bullet train fight sequence being the best and the highlight of the film. And especially in 3D it was mind-blowing!!

After that the movie takes a Hindi film turn. The hero and heroine are alone, trying to hide from the kidnappers in a seedy hotel where there is only one room available and they have their romantic moments together too. Deja vu!

Soon Logan learns that something is wrong with him. He is not healing as quickly as before. And figures out that the Doctor has something to do with it. He also understands why everyone wants to kidnap poor little Mariko. She is the sole heiress of the entire Yashida fortune after her grandfather's death!

Does wolverine regain his healing powers again? Can Viper and the Admantium Samurai be stopped? Who is behind the kidnappings? Is Yashida really dead?

You have to watch it to answer all the questions. And most of all you have watch it for the soul of the film....for Hugh Jackman.....and most importantly for wolverine.....who is, in my opinion,  THE ULTIMATE SUPER-HERO!

Review of Dan Brown's Inferno -- Book

It was some years ago that I went to see the movie "The Da'Vinci Code". It was totally by chance that I saw the movie. My aunt and her colleagues were supposed to go for the movie but some of them dropped out. As a "substitute", I filled in one of the empty spots. When I watched it I dint know much about it. I had only read in the newspaper about the controversy surrounding it.

After coming back I read the book. I was instantly hooked to the book and most importantly by his writing. And Robert Langdon was added to my list of favourite characters. After that I read Angels and Demons, The Lost Symbol and most recently Inferno. When you read Dan brown's writing you can instantly imagine everything in vivid detail. Even though you may have never been there, you still feel like your visiting it right at that moment when your reading it.

In Dante Alighieri's Inferno he describes his journey through hell and Professor Langdon also goes through a different, or if i may say, a modern kind of hell. It takes you through Florence, Venice and Istanbul. He describes all these places beautifully. Langdon again has to solve a series of  puzzles to get to his final destination. All these can be solved by the help of  "Dante" and his book Inferno. The protagonist is again joined by a beautiful woman Dr. Sienna Brooks. It gives you a James Bond like feeling. Well Langdon is no less than Mr Bond himself. He doesn't have cool gadgets but he makes up with his brain.

The book is filled with a lot of twists and turns. Just when you start believing something, it is turned around to such an extent you don't know what to believe any more. It also deals with a lot of current issues, but solutions to it is a little bit bizarre.

It has all the elements to make it into a thrilling film though. With Langdon having retrograde amnesia due to a gun shot wound to his head (or was it?). A beautiful but mysterious doctor Sienna Brooks helping him out(or is she?). A probable assassin behind Langdon. An entire troop of "black" soldiers chasing them (or are they?). The WHO(World Health Organisation) is also involved along with a secret group "The Consortium". A genius madman who is a villian(or is he?). All these things can be found once you read the book.

The entire book keeps you involved till the end. Though the ending seemed a little weird, I guess it is acceptable.

I wont reveal much because then you will not feel the need to read the book. And I believe everyone should read it. All I can say is "Seek and ye shall find".
